I am the owner of Lashes by K.

I am a Lash Technician, Lash Educator and lover of life. I offer an array of services + training and am so thankful for all my clients + students. My favourite part is connecting with all of you every day, in person or virtually. I celebrate every inquiry, booking and registration!

I live in Toronto, Ontario, with my husband, son and dog. Lashes by K Academy was born in 2018, and I am so grateful for how far it has come — I couldn’t have done it without my family’s support.

Originally, I was running a thriving Home Daycare business. In July 2018, I wanted to start a lash business as a side hustle and let me tell you—it changed my life! I have now been doing it full-time for over two years and have closed my daycare business. Who would have thought that my part-time hustle would turn into my full-time career?! I love what I do so much! It never feels like work.

I am a firm believer that life is only as good as your thoughts. Our minds are so powerful. To change your life, you need to change what your brain thinks about. Make a goal and work for it every day to achieve it. Always having something to work towards is a great pleasure of life — something to be excited about! Don’t be afraid of hard work.

5 Random Facts:

I became a Mom in February 🧿!! My son is super chill and goes with the flow, so I didn’t have to skip a beat with my business. The online training has continued full tilt!! I have taken a break from offering services for now.
I got married to my honey, Jamarr, on New Year’s Eve 2020! It was a private ceremony, with the only guests being the Officiant, the Photographer, and her Assistant. Nothing fancy, just love!
I am morbidly obsessed with true crime. My clients know this because we always listen to podcasts together during appointments, lol!! I have y’all hooked now.
I am a self-proclaimed #DunnHunter — Rae Dunn mugs especially!! And on that note, HomeSense gives me life. #MasterCandleScentPicker
I have always been a business-driven woman and am passionate about setting and achieving goals. Because of that, my favourite part of my job is teaching you how to establish and maintain a thriving business in today’s society.
